A decade ago, Katherine and David deWilde set out to turn their Sonoma County vacation property into a “kid magnet” for their children and grandchildren, complete with a bunk room, sports courts and speakeasy. Now the couple is putting the roughly 13-acre compound on the market for $16.7 million.

Located in Kenwood, Calif., an affluent town in the Sonoma Valley, the property includes a roughly 5,970-square-foot modern farmhouse with floors made with reclaimed wood from Napa wine barrels. There are two guest cottages, a pool and a stand-alone gym with glass walls that open completely on two sides.
