A little more than two years ago, Adam Levine paid now-divorced couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner $32 million for a sprawling Los Angeles estate. Soon after — last summer, to be exact — the Grammy-winning musician told Architectural Digest during a video tour of the home that he was never leaving and the house isn’t for sale … “so don’t even think about it, for at least a year!”

But that was then! Now TMZ is reporting that Levine and his supermodel wife Behati Prinsloo have abruptly changed their minds and are indeed flipping the property back onto the market, asking a substantially higher $57.5 million. Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency is currently shopping the place to “prequalified buyers” only, so lookie-loos are plumb out of luck.

Though that list price is a whopping $25 million more than Levine and Prinsloo paid for the ranch-style spread, the couple did undertake an extensive remodel of the interiors in collaboration with mother-son duo Clements Design during their tenure. They also hired famed landscape architect Mark Rios to spruce up the grounds.

Originally built and designed by noted architect Cliff May in the late 1930s, the site has seen numerous renovations and additions through the years. Previous owners have included Gregory Peck and producer Brian Grazer, who sold the property to Affleck and Garner for $17.5 million in 2009.

If history prevails, Levine and Prinsloo likely will make out like bandits. No strangers when it comes to profiting from their real estate investments, the pair flipped their century-old estate in Montecito to an as-yet-unidentified buyer last summer in an off-market deal for a $28.5 million — or $5.8 million more than they had just paid three months earlier. And back in 2019, only a year after buying the place for under $34 million, the couple sold their glam 1930s Beverly Hills estate to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi for an eye-popping $42.5 million; in turn, DeGeneres and de Rossi quickly flipped that same house for $45 million to prominent venture capitalist Mood Rowghani and his wife Tara Dhingra.

Huddled securely behind a lengthy gated driveway, in the coveted Riviera neighborhood pocket of Pacific Palisades, the property includes three structures on over 3 acres of land. Among them: the main house and a four-bedroom guest house with a full kitchen and living/dining areas, plus a separate yoga/office and gym — for a total of 10 bedrooms and 14 baths in around 16,000 square feet of living space.
